Mournes Walk 28th September – Final Total

Although the target for the Mournes Walk on Sunday the 28th September was £750 a total of £880 was raised!  With an additional 20% top up promised by Tesco, the final donation will be £1,076.

A fantastic amount, well done and thanks again to all involved.

 

REVIVE provides ten HeelZup devices

REVIVE has provided ten HeelZup devices to assist in reducing heel pressure ulcer development in our most vulnerable patients.  Pressure ulcers are complex painful lesions which create psychological and physiological problems for patients’, carers’ and their families.

Sister Sandra Nixon from the RICU Pressure Ulcer Prevention (PUG) received the cushions along with Kathryn Fitzsimons.

Sr Nixon said

“We are delighted to receive these cushions as Critical illness presents additional challenges in pressure ulcer prevention; the HeelZup solution will help us meet the special needs of the patients within Critical Care. Thank You REVIVE.”

£1000 raised so far!

Declan Harrigan has decided to do a year long list of fundraising activities for Revive and reached £1000 this week.

Fund Raising Ball – 4th October 2014

On Saturday 4th October Carmel Francis from REVIVE was a guest at a fund raising ball at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast.

This special evening was arranged by a group of friends and family, and held a in memory of Jennifer Rowden.
